About Gabby

Therapy offers space to process what feels overwhelming and build meaningful ways forward. My goal is to invite you into an affirming and curious environment where you feel truly heard and held. My approach to individual therapy is relational and attachment-based, drawing on evidence based methods to support your needs and goals.

My path to clinical work is grounded in both social work and education. After earning my Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, I was a middle school teacher in independent schools. I later earned my Master’s in Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University, completing my training in private practice. Today, I bring these complementary backgrounds together to support individuals, children, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.

When working with children, I've learned that the best way to build connection is through play and a healthy sense of humor. In session, play serves as the foundation for establishing a trusting connection, exploring feelings, and building new skills. Essential to this work is close collaboration with the adults in a child’s world, which we foster through dedicated parenting support and coordination with teachers and other providers.

As part of my work, I continuously seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill set by attending professional trainings. Some relevant trainings include:

  • Emotionally Focused Family Therapy

  • Imago Relationship Therapy In Clinical Practice

  • RFP-C: Regulation Focused Psychotherapy Training for Children

  • SPACE: Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions through the Yale Child Study Center

  • Circle of Security Parenting

I live in in the NYC suburbs with my husband, two high energy sons, and rambunctious black labradoodle.
